I am Salman Ali –Founder and CEO – of alqamees. I hope and pray you are safe at home. In 2013, what was an imagination turned into an idea and then into a reality in a few months. As we approach out 7th anniversary this Ramadhan, I must say it’s been an exciting and exhausting journey at alqamees with many highs and equally many lows.
I along with my brother Nouman (Co-Founder) started alqamees with No former business experience, almost zero product experience and a big zero experience in the country /region of our business, with these credentials, we went thought thick and thin to reach here today. With days of great achievements to days of complete failures. From poor customer service, delayed and lost orders, faulty products, IT & website breakdowns, fire at factory, labor strikes, IP theft, copycat knockoffs, we have been through all and survived due to this mindset. Learn from the past and look to the future.
While we were preparing to give a complete re-birth to our brand in 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic forced us a delayed, yet pre-mature launch, however a lot of what was planned is Here. Check it out below.
Tragedies and calamities are a part of life and this COVID-19, whilst however big of a challenge it is, we need to be optimistic and make the best of the circumstances for life must go on.
